At The Architecture Island we approach architecture as an armature for life. Life has always changed, but today more so than ever. Producing a design that strictly determines every single detail and the use of every single space is building in future obselecence. Instead at TAI we aim to embrace flexibility to accomodate future change and innovation by getting the armature right as a priority. The armature should run through the project like a line giving meaning and continuity with slow time that connects past and present, whilst allowing natural change to occur in the future unencumbered, but instead supported by its presence.
